Fatoş Pınar Türker, on trial as the General Manager of Medya A.Ş., took the floor during the hearing to convey her grievances and request for release to the court.
Prison Conditions and Health Issues
Stating that she is a single mother of two children, Türker expressed in court that prison conditions negatively affect her health.
She reported that her heart surgery, which she underwent twenty-five years ago, has been triggered under current conditions, and that she has experienced high blood pressure problems, fainted, and been transferred to the hospital.
Night Checks and Concerns
She stated that, upon the instruction of the Ministry of Justice, officers check on her every fifteen minutes throughout the night in prison, and that this situation disrupts her sleep.
Expressing her deep fear of not being able to reunite with her children, Türker requested her release from the judicial panel.
