Suspicious Deaths and Child Cases
Throughout the month, numerous suspicious deaths and suspicious child deaths were recorded in different parts of Turkey. Investigations were launched regarding incidents in which children and women lost their lives under suspicious circumstances in provinces such as Siirt, Kütahya, Antep, Urfa, Manisa, Afyon, and Maraş.
Incidents of Violence, Injury, and Threats
In many cities, notably Edirne, Bursa, Konya, Samsun, Kayseri, Aydın, and İstanbul, incidents of battery, knife and firearm injuries, and threats against women took place. Legal proceedings were initiated against suspects following attacks that occurred despite restraining orders.

As a result of investigations conducted during August, some past suspicious deaths and murders were clarified. It was determined that certain deaths of women and children in Ankara, Adana, Batman, Van, and Afyon, which had previously been reported as missing persons cases or suicides, were actually murders.
Harassment, Abuse, and Other Criminal Cases
Suspects were detained in cases of harassment and child abuse that occurred on streets, in markets, and in public spaces across different provinces. Additionally, operations were carried out against individuals forcing women into sex work in Konya, and judicial processes were initiated.
