The Ministry of Health has requested views and feedback from relevant institutions regarding the draft framework of the practical training program prepared for doctors in the fields of internal medicine, traditional medicine, preventive medicine, and dentistry.
Scope of the Practical Training Framework
The practical training program framework for doctors covers a total of four key practice areas. These areas have been determined as internal medicine, traditional medicine, preventive medicine, and dentistry.
Documents Sent to Relevant Institutions
Official documents have been forwarded to medical examination and treatment centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health, as well as provincial and city health departments under the central government. The relevant units have been asked to review the draft and provide feedback.
Board Decisions and Draft Development
The work has been carried out within the framework of the Evaluation Board established pursuant to the June 2026 decision. The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management has developed the draft text by coordinating with the relevant units.
Feedback Process and Deadline
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management has requested opinions from hospitals and health departments. Due to the limited implementation period, written opinions have been requested to be submitted before September 14, 2026.
2027 Professional Competency Exams
The National Medical Council stated that the 2027 professional competency assessment for medical practitioners will be conducted in accordance with the laws. Accordingly, two exams will be held in March and December of 2027.
