Ministry of Health sends administrative leave letter for adaptation week to 81 provinces

The Ministry of Health has forwarded the administrative leave regulation granted to public personnel within the scope of the 2026-2027 education and training year adaptation week to 81 provincial governorships. With this regulation, eligible healthcare workers in Çorum will also be able to use up to three hours of daily leave between September 7 and September 11, 2026.

Ministry letter sent to 81 provinces

Following the letter dated August 27, 2026, from the Directorate General of Personnel and Principles of the Presidency General Secretariat, a letter dated September 2, 2026, was prepared by the Ministry of Health's Directorate General of Management Services. This letter was communicated to 81 provincial governorships, provincial health directorates, and affiliated institutions.

Healthcare personnel in Çorum are also included

The letter did not include any exceptional provisions that would exclude healthcare workers. Within this scope, doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff working in the Çorum Provincial Health Directorate and public hospitals in the city will also be able to benefit from this right, provided they meet the conditions.

Leave details and conditions determined

Only one of the parents who has a child in preschool, the 1st grade of primary school, or the 5th grade of middle school will be able to benefit from this right. The leave will be granted during the week of September 7-11, 2026, not exceeding three hours per day, taking into account the school's class hours.

Ensuring uninterrupted services will be fundamental

In order to ensure that health services are carried out without interruption, the planning of institutional managers will be decisive in granting the leaves. Necessary measures will be taken by considering shift and duty arrangements.
