Number of visits announced for joint home health and care efforts in Kemalpaşa
Thousands of households have been reached within the scope of home health and social support practices carried out in the district.
Within the scope of home health and care services carried out in partnership with Kemalpaşa Municipality and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital, a total of 4,428 home visits have been conducted to date.

Within the scope of the service carried out in cooperation with Kemalpaşa Municipality and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Eşrefpaşa Hospital, citizens' health, personal care, and cleaning needs are met in their homes.
It was reported that while 419 registered patients currently benefit from the practice, 4,428 home visits have been carried out to date.
Who can benefit and application conditions
Provided through an appointment system regardless of financial status, citizens aged 80 and over can benefit from the services without the requirement of being bedridden.
Citizens can reach authorities to obtain information about Home Health and Care Services and to apply via İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's Citizen Communication Center (HİM) or by calling 153.
Medical and social supports provided
Expert teams meticulously perform at-home doctor examinations, blood draws, wound dressing, and catheter procedures.
Additionally, while citizens' needs for medication, diapers, and formula are met, psychologist support, dental examinations, and physical therapy opportunities are also offered.
Cleaning, bathing, and transportation opportunities
While elderly citizens are provided with house cleaning and bathing support, the transportation of individuals who need to go to the hospital to healthcare institutions is ensured by Kemalpaşa Municipality's patient transport vehicle.

Kemalpaşa Mayor Mehmet Türkmen stated that they continue to stand by elderly citizens and those in the district who have difficulty accessing healthcare institutions.
Mayor Türkmen emphasized that these services, which make citizens' lives easier, are offered free of charge and that no one is alone in Kemalpaşa.
