Approximately 1,000 doctors and nurses participated in the 4th Ho Chi Minh City Healthcare Sector Job Fair 2026. Many young doctors chose to start their careers at primary healthcare centers.
Healthcare Sector Job Fair Held
The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Healthcare Sector Job Fair 2026 was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health at the Long Dat Regional Medical Center.
Record Participation Achieved
While 94 healthcare organizations participated in the recruitment event, the applications of approximately 1,000 doctors and nurses were recorded as the highest number to date.
Preferences of Young Doctors
Doctor Le My Tuong Minh chose the Binh Hung Commune Health Center with the goal of contributing to local healthcare services in the long term.
Dr. Minh completed an 18-month practical training program at the Nguyen Trai Hospital and the Binh Hung Commune Health Station.
Primary Healthcare Services
Dr. Thieu Thanh Phuc, another individual who preferred primary healthcare services, applied to the An Hoi Dong District Health Center.
Expert Opinions and Assessments
Associate Professor Dr. Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, stated that the best place to start a career does not necessarily have to be a large hospital in the city center.
Dr. Thuong stated that a health station in need of additional staff could also be an extremely suitable starting point for young doctors.
