Following the operation launched over allegations of obscenity, past joint projects of the Kaos GL Association with the Ministry of Health, as well as its work in health and refugee rights, have become a subject of discussion.

Joint Projects with the Ministry of Health
The Kaos GL Association has also carried out joint projects with the Ministry of Health in the past. The Ministry took part as a partner within the scope of the Rainbow Project, which was carried out in Ankara between April 2006 and July 2007.
Within the framework of this project, gay and bisexual men were provided with safe-sex information, publications, and materials such as condoms and lubricants.

The association's publicly available activity reports reveal that its work has concentrated on areas such as health, social services, working life, refugee rights, and local governments. In the year 2024 alone, 258 events were held.
As a result of these efforts, thousands of people facing discrimination were supported, and numerous individuals found access to various social services.
Refugee Counseling and Support
Refugee counseling also holds an important place among the association's activities. In the year 2024 alone, legal and psychosocial counseling services were provided a total of 1,520 times to 313 LGBTI+ refugees.
Interinstitutional Partnerships and Networks
According to the 2024 activity summary, 187 meetings were held with various institutions, and 36 percent of the events were organized jointly. Partners included municipalities, bar associations, trade unions, and women's organizations.
