The Pre-Hospital Emergency Health Services Symposium (BAHAS 2026) was successfully held in Balıkesir with the participation of health professionals, academics, and managers from various provinces.
Start of the Symposium and Opening Ceremony
The program, held at the Avlu Congress and Culture Center, officially began with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem.

The Importance of Health Workers in the Field Was Emphasized
General Manager of Emergency Health Services Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eray Çınar drew attention to the critical role of health personnel working in the field during the opening of the program.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eray Çınar stated that personnel working in the field are the first people seen by individuals in need of help.
The Vital Importance of Correct and Rapid Intervention
Ahmet Hamdi Alpakan, Chairman of the Paramedic and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Association (PARHAD), also delivered a speech at the event.
Ahmet Hamdi Alpakan particularly pointed out that correct and rapid interventions applied in emergency situations are of vital importance.
Messages from the Provincial Health Directorate and Chief Physician
Balıkesir Provincial Health Director Dr. Miraç Çavdar made a speech addressing the participants at the opening of the symposium.
Balıkesir Provincial Ambulance Service Chief Physician Dr. Faculty Member Özlem Tataroğlu also took the floor during the organization and shared her evaluations.
