Vietnam-Russia Science and Technology Forum Held in Moscow
During the "Bridging Strategic Technologies" forum held in Moscow, it was emphasized that scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation must be addressed with a new approach.
General Secretary and President To Lam, attending the Vietnam-Russia Science and Technology Forum themed "Bridging Strategic Technologies" in Moscow as part of his visit to Russia, stated that a new mindset in science and technology must be adopted between the two countries.

As part of the state visit to the Russian Federation, General Secretary and President To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the meeting in Moscow.
The event was also attended by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, and approximately 500 delegates from both countries.
Russia's Emphasis on Cooperation
In his opening speech, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshenko stated that Vietnam is a reliable partner of Russia.
Recalling that 2026 has been declared the year of education, science, and technology exchange, attention was drawn to the potential in artificial intelligence, advanced materials, new energy, and space technology.
Vietnam's Goals and New Vision
In his speech at the forum, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are fundamental driving forces for his country's goals.
It was stated that cooperation should not be limited to expert exchanges but should aim to jointly master technology and create joint products.
