Psycho-Social Risk Training for Health and Social Service Workers Held in Adana
The first training activity of the project prepared by ÖZ-SAM and accepted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has been completed in Adana.
The first training leg of the project aimed at helping health and social service sector workers cope with psycho-social risks, accepted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, was successfully carried out in Adana.
Purpose and Scope of the Project
Developed by the union's Academic Higher Board ÖZ-SAM, the project aims to increase the skills of laborers in the health and social service sector in combating psycho-social risks they encounter in working life.
Broadly Participated Meeting
Headquarters executives, the head of ÖZ-SAM, academics, branch presidents, representatives of trade unions affiliated with the confederation, and numerous workers attended the training program organized in Adana.
Risks in Working Life
Fehmi Azboy, Vice President responsible for Training and Social Affairs, emphasized that workers face various difficulties such as long hours, heavy workloads, stress, burnout, violence, and harassment.
Trainings Given by Experts
Within the scope of the project trainings, Dr. Orhan Koç explained stress and coping methods, while Prof. Dr. Mehmet Merve Özaydın provided information on mobbing in working life and methods to combat it.
Closing of the Program
The first training program within the scope of the project, implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, concluded with a certificate ceremony and group photos.
