Public Health Festival Held at Ulus 100th Anniversary Park
Citizens underwent health screenings and received information on various topics at an event organized by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality hosted a comprehensive festival at the Healthy Life Advisory Center in Ulus 100th Anniversary Park as part of Public Health Week.
Location of the Event
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality organized a meaningful event on the occasion of the September 3-9 Public Health Week at the Healthy Life Advisory Center, which it opened for service within Ulus 100th Anniversary Park.
Participating Institutions and Stands
During the festival, special stands were opened by the Ankara Family Physicians Association, Public Health Specialists Association, Turkish Kidney Foundation, and Alzheimer's Foundation.
Basic Health Screenings
Basic health measurements such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, height, weight, and body mass index were performed for the citizens present at the event area.
Information and Cancer Screenings
In addition to health screenings, informational activities were conducted on vital topics such as cancer screenings, Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Education Center (KETEM) services, healthy nutrition, and early diagnosis.
Activities for Children
Children were not forgotten within the scope of the festival, and educational activities such as hand hygiene, healthy nutrition habits, and fun face painting were organized.
