Names of Those Detained
The suspects detained in the operation were taken to the police department following health checks. The list includes Turgay Tamer, İdris Tiftikci, Selahattin Günday, Ahmet Göksel Erdoğan, Mahmut Arslan, Özlem Uslu Öz, Emre Atmaca, Tuba Koç, and Nesrin Kaya Altınova.
Reopening of the Investigation
Following Kozinoğlu's death in Silivri Prison on November 12, 2011, a decision of non-prosecution had been issued in 2012 for the investigation opened at the time. With the Silivri Criminal Judgeship of Peace revoking the decision, the file began to be re-examined.
Timing and Allegations of Negligence
In the re-examined file, it was determined that there was a delay of approximately thirty minutes between the moment the first aid call was made and the time the medical team arrived. Additionally, it was detected that the prison ambulance was at lunch at the center during the incident.
Decision to Exhume the Grave
Within the scope of the investigation, it was decided that Kaşif Kozinoğlu's grave would be opened on September 11, and the samples to be taken would be sent for toxicological and chemical examination.
