Following an intensive care unit process and after medical conditions were met, the 67-year-old artist was transferred to his home where his treatment continues under supervision.
Artist Soner Olgun, who has been receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer for some time, was discharged to be treated at home after being admitted to the intensive care unit due to a high fever complaint.
Hospitalization Process
67-year-old Soner Olgun, one of the well-known names of Turkish music, was hospitalized and taken into treatment on August 30 due to a high fever complaint.
Upon the deterioration of his health condition, the artist was transferred to the hospital's intensive care unit on September 1 and placed under close observation.
Request to Be Transferred Home
While his treatment in intensive care was ongoing and while conscious, Soner Olgun conveyed to his relatives and the medical team that he wanted to go home.
His ex-wife, Özlem Koldaş, shared with the public that the artist had made a request in intensive care to her saying, "Get me out of here."
Home Treatment Process
In line with the detailed evaluations made by the doctors and the approval of his family, the famous artist was removed from intensive care.
It was reported that the health condition of the artist, who is kept under 24-hour nurse supervision in his home where the necessary medical infrastructure has been established, is critical.
