It is claimed that disruptions are occurring in health services at the Afyonkarahisar State Hospital Home Health Unit due to a shortage of vehicles and drivers.

Allegations of Driver and Vehicle Shortages

It was stated that various service problems are being experienced at the Afyonkarahisar State Hospital Home Health Unit due to a shortage of drivers and vehicles.

İsmail Sayın, the Afyonkarahisar Provincial President of the General Health-İş Union, reported that ongoing activities are being disrupted due to these deficiencies.

Personnel Lacking SRC Certification

It was claimed that a staff member assigned to cover the driver shortage could not start their duty because they did not possess the required SRC certificate (Professional Competency Certificate).

Attempting to carry out the services with different drivers and vehicles every day prevents the process from progressing regularly.

Grievances Experienced by Patients

It was stated that these disruptions victimize citizens, especially those who are bedridden and have difficulty reaching the hospital.

Due to the inadequacy of transfer ambulances and the inability to meet requests on time, support is occasionally sought from 112 Emergency teams.

Criticisms Directed at Management

Following the issues finding a place in the public eye, the approach of the hospital chief physician's office became a subject of criticism.

Citizens and union representatives criticized the hospital management and Chief Physician Osman Acar for remaining silent on the issue.

Expectations from the Provincial Health Directorate

It was stated that Provincial Health Director Dr. Hakkı Öztürk's work in the city is appreciated, and support is expected from him in resolving these issues.
