Vice President Yılmaz Attended Hospital Groundbreaking Ceremony in Elazığ

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 800-bed hospital building to be constructed within Fırat University in Elazığ and made important statements.
New Hospital Groundbreaking in Elazığ
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz paid a visit to the city of Elazığ for a series of contacts and programs. Within the scope of the visit, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Fırat University 800-bed new hospital building.
Healthcare Investments and Satisfaction
Speaking at the ceremony, Yılmaz announced that 27 city hospitals have become operational across Turkey and construction work on 13 city hospitals is ongoing. It was stated that the satisfaction rate of citizens with healthcare services, which was 39.5 percent in 2002, rose to 69.4 percent as of 2025.
Modern Design Details
Details regarding the equipment of the newly grounded hospital building were also shared. It was stated that all patient rooms in the modern 800-bed hospital to be built within Fırat University are designed with a single-person room concept.
