Weather forecast and expected heavy showers across Turkey
According to the latest evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy showers and storms will be effective in various regions of the country.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has shared the weather forecasts for across the country. Accordingly, heavy showers and strong winds are expected in some regions.
Expected Precipitation Areas
It was reported that heavy showers will be effective in Thrace, Western Mediterranean, Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts, and the northern parts of Istanbul.
Wind and Storm Warning
It was stated that the wind will increase its effect in Marmara and the Northern Aegean, blowing at a speed of 40-60 kilometers per hour, and storms are expected at sea. In addition, storm-force winds will be seen in the Western Black Sea.
Fog and Temperature Conditions
Fog and mist are expected in the inland parts of the Western and Central Black Sea during the morning and night hours. A slight increase in air temperatures is projected in the inland and western parts.
