Bursa-based operation captures 10 suspects advertising crimes on social media
In a simultaneous operation organized by the Bursa Provincial Directorate of Security teams, 10 suspects who were looking for personnel for armed actions and creating a crime price list on social media were detained.
In an operation targeting suspects who praised criminal organizations via social media accounts and sought personnel for armed actions, 10 people were detained in Bursa, and numerous cartridges were found during searches at the addresses.
Simultaneous Operation Launched
Teams from the Bursa Provincial Directorate of Security Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch initiated an effort against individuals making posts on social media platforms that encourage and praise criminal organizations.
10 Suspects Detained
As a result of the ongoing efforts, a simultaneous operation was carried out at 18 addresses to capture 19 suspects determined to have made incriminating posts, and 10 suspects were captured as a result of these operations.
Numerous Cartridges Seized
During searches conducted by law enforcement forces at the residential addresses and designated points of the detained suspects, a large number of cartridges of various sizes were seized.
They Created a Price List for Crimes
It was determined that the suspects created a list for their actions in a messaging group they established on social media, setting prices ranging from 250,000 liras to 11,000 euros under crime headings such as hitman services, injury, arson, and smuggling in these lists.
