The judgment text also recorded that 385 people were arbitrarily and unlawfully detained, 303 people were subjected to torture, and 49 people experienced cruel treatment.

Presiding Judge Charles Smith stated that Thaçi actively participated in the crimes within the framework of a joint criminal enterprise. Thaçi, who has denied all charges, has the right to appeal the verdict.
