While the correct use of the internet and social media facilitates access to information, its negative aspects impact social security and public order. In this context, it is emphasized that cadres and party members must use social media responsibly, consciously, and based on official sources.

The Place of Social Media in Life

The internet and social media have increasingly become an inseparable part of daily life, providing people with access to information and the opportunity to connect with communities.

While the proper use of the digital space supports the right to self-management and freedom of expression, local authorities and party members participate in efforts aimed at spreading official information.

Negative Aspects and Responsibility

Social media also has many negative aspects that directly affect the social environment, public order, and security.

Therefore, every individual, particularly public employees and party members, must exhibit an exemplary role and use social media responsibly.

Internal Bulletin and Sharing Principles

In the October 2026 internal bulletin of the City Party Committee Propaganda Department, it was stated that the responsible use of social media must begin with verifying information.

Drawing attention to the fact that not every shared information is necessarily verified, individuals are asked to think carefully before every interaction and to spread positive information.

Steps of the Verification Process

During the verification process, it is necessary to check the source of the information, determining whether it comes from an official institution or an anonymous account.

Additionally, the timing of the information must be checked, and it should be meticulously examined whether old content is being associated with a new event.

Legal Framework and Regulations

Central and local governments establish comprehensive legal frameworks to protect the ideological foundation of the party and to combat erroneous views.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 85, cadres are obligated to declare their real identities when using personal websites and to be responsible for the content they publish.

Activities of Task Forces

Task forces within local committees intensify monitoring and information-gathering activities on the internet to promptly detect false information.

Through training conferences organized in areas such as Tan Trieu Ward, the aim is to proactively share and spread official information.
