Fugitive Murder Convict Social Media Influencer Captured in Adana
A fugitive convict with a final prison sentence stemming from a murder case in Mardin was captured through meticulous police camera surveillance.
Ş.A., a social media figure who had a 12-year and 6-month prison sentence for a murder committed in Mardin in 2021, was captured at his hideout in Adana as a result of detailed operations by police teams and was handed over to prison.
Murder and Trial Process
The trial process regarding the killing of M.Ç. as a result of a hostility that arose due to a debt dispute in the Midyat district had been completed, and the prison sentence handed down was upheld by the Court of Cassation.
Meticulous Camera Surveillance and Operation
Information was obtained that the fugitive convict, known for his social media posts and tattoos on his body, was in Adana. Teams from the Adana Police Department's Public Order Branch Office Homicide Bureau examined approximately 200 hours of security camera footage to determine the suspect's location.
Following comprehensive work carried out, it was determined that the fugitive convict was hiding in a house in the Seyhan district, and he was captured in a raid and sent to prison.
