The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action regarding posts targeting public order on social media platforms. Accounts aiming to disrupt the ongoing "Family is Safe" investigation were placed under scrutiny.

Access Ban from the Court

Following examinations, the Bakırköy 4th Criminal Judgeship of Peace issued an access ban decision regarding the relevant social media accounts and posts. It was ruled that the content be removed from publication.

Legal Grounds and Articles of Law

It was determined that the content published on the internet environment constituted the crime of obscenity within the scope of Article 226/2 of the Turkish Penal Code. The decision was implemented pursuant to the relevant articles of Law No. 5651.
