A new regulation integrated with e-Government is being prepared to ensure children spend time safely on digital platforms.

System Not Requiring Data Sharing
It was stated that the planned new system will not require platforms to share user data. With this regulation, the aim is to create a more controlled and secure digital environment.
Risks Faced by Children in the Digital Sphere
Göktaş emphasized that children spend an average of more than 3.5 hours daily on social media platforms. It was asserted that social media disrupts sleep patterns, leads to depression and anxiety, and decreases concentration rates by 48 percent.
Gaming Platforms and Age Groups
Issuing a new regulation targeting gaming platforms is also among the plans. While recalling access bans applied to platforms like Roblox and Discord, the new regulation aims to separate content targeted at the 15-18 age group.
