Social Media Phenomenon Cumhur Kahraman Laid to Rest in Istanbul

Social media phenomenon and motorcycle enthusiast Cumhur Kahraman, who lost his life as a result of a collision with a truck in the Dikili district of Izmir, was sent off on his final journey after a funeral ceremony held in Istanbul.

Ceremony Held at Florya New Mosque

A funeral ceremony was held at the Florya New Mosque in Istanbul for Cumhur Kahraman, known as Motovlogcu Dayı, who passed away in a traffic accident in the Dikili district of Izmir.

Following the funeral prayer performed after the noon prayer, Kahraman was buried in the Esenyurt Gülbahçe Cemetery.

High Attendance at the Funeral

Along with Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi, the deceased's family, relatives, and numerous motorcycle enthusiasts were present at the ceremony.

Motorcycle enthusiasts, who did not leave Kahraman alone on his final journey, formed a convoy around the mosque.

Statements from His Friend Regarding the Accident

Making statements after the accident, Cemal Dalyan stated that Cumhur Kahraman was a conscious driver who obeyed speed and traffic rules.

Dalyan noted that the truck entered the left lane out of control, causing its trailer to swing and hit Kahraman, and that the claim of him hitting the truck did not reflect the truth.

A Sorrowful Farewell from the Motorcycle Community

The passing of Kahraman, one of the prominent figures of the motorcycle community, was met with great sadness by his friends and loved ones.

Görkem Akbulak and Nur Köseoğlu expressed their deep sorrow by mentioning the efforts of the deceased for the community and the youth.
