15 Million Liras Worth of Sports Equipment Support Provided to 171 Schools in Ağrı
Thousands of materials were delivered to schools throughout the province through a project carried out to increase the access of youth in Ağrı to sports activities.
Within the framework of the 'Ağrı Youth Active Lives Project' implemented in Ağrı, the distribution of materials valued at 15 million TL was carried out to strengthen the sports infrastructure of a total of 171 primary, secondary, and high schools.
Aim and Scope of the Project
The Ağrı Youth Active Lives Project was implemented in order to increase students' participation in sports activities and contribute to their physical, social, and personal development.
Details of the Distributed Materials
As a result of the joint efforts carried out, a total of 22,200 sports equipment items consisting of 62 different categories were delivered to 171 primary, secondary, and high schools throughout the province.
Participation of the Protocol
The delivery of the materials to the schools took place in a program held with the participation of Ağrı Governor Dr. Önder Bozkurt, the provincial protocol, and numerous young people.
Support Resources and Financing
Carried out under the auspices of the Governorship of Ağrı and with the support of the Special Provincial Administration, the project was brought to life in partnership with the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Provincial Directorate of National Education. With this support totaling 15 million TL, the sports facilities of the schools were expanded.
