Amateur Sports Week Walk Held in Malatya
Organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Confederation of Amateur Sports Clubs, the week kicked off with colorful events.
Amateur Sports Week, organized in Malatya by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Confederation of Amateur Sports Clubs, officially began with a march from Kernek Square to the Millet Garden.
High Participation in the Walk
Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Ebu Bekir Kayhan, ASKF Malatya President Kahraman Fırat, institutional representatives, coaches, and numerous athletes participated in the march, which stretched from Kernek Square to the Millet Garden.
Moment of Silence and National Anthem
The program, continuing at the Millet Garden, officially commenced with a moment of silence observed by the participants, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Children and Youth Meet with Sports
In his speech during the program, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Ebu Bekir Kayhan drew attention to the great importance that Amateur Sports Week holds in bringing children and youth together with sports.
Competitions Will Be Held in Various Branches
Throughout the week, exciting competitions and sports events will be held in many different branches, primarily wrestling, badminton, handball, basketball, cricket, floor curling, football, and volleyball.
