Registration processes have begun for the 16th Amed Cup Tennis Tournament, organized by the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality to promote sports culture. Citizens aged 13 and over can participate in the organization, and the matches will be held in October.
Registration Dates and Application Process
Applications for the 16th Amed Cup Tennis Tournament, organized under the leadership of the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Department of Youth and Sports Services, began on September 25. The deadline to apply for the tournament, which is open to all citizens aged 13 and over, has been set for October 1.
Categories and Skill Level Distribution
The organization, in which female and male athletes will compete in four separate categories, will be held in a knockout format. Athletes will take to the courts in three different categories—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—according to their skill levels.
Drawing of Lots and Tournament Schedule
Following the end of the application process, the draw will take place on October 2 at the Sümerpark Common Living Space. The official opening of the tournament will be held on October 3, and the action-packed matches will conclude with the finals on October 13.
Courts Where Matches Will Be Played
Tournament matches will start simultaneously at different points throughout the city. The matches will be played on the courts at the 75 Mahabad Indoor Tennis Courts, the 500 Evler Sports Complex, and various municipal sports parks.
