Armed attack in Hamburg gym parking lot: Two people dead
Two people were killed and one person was injured in an armed attack carried out by 10 masked individuals in the parking lot of a boxing gym in Hamburg, Germany.
As a result of an armed attack carried out by 10 masked individuals in the parking lot of a boxing gym located in Hamburg, Germany, Murat Büyükkeskin and Mazlum Uğur Aktaş lost their lives. One person, who was injured in the head during the incident, was taken to the hospital.
Development of the Incident and Police Intervention
Gunshots were heard around 22:30 in a factory area on Lagerstrasse, located near the trade fair grounds in Hamburg, Germany. Police teams dispatched to the area found three people covered in blood inside a building and in the parking lot.
Assailants' Getaway Vehicles and Weapons
Reviewing security cameras, police teams determined that 10 masked assailants who entered the area in three cars ran toward the gym. A large number of heavy weapons were seized in the vehicles found in the parking lot.
Past Criminal Connections
Murat Büyükkeskin, who lost his life in the attack, was known in connection with significant past underworld trials and drug trafficking operations. It was determined that Büyükkeskin had 15 separate criminal records and had fled abroad in 2023.
