Asparan Camp and Sports Facilities Opened with a Ceremony
The new facility, established on a 10-decare area in Marmaris İçmeler Asparan locality, has started operating to meet the social and sporting needs of youth.
Established by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality on a 10-decare area in Marmaris İçmeler Asparan locality, the Asparan Camp and Sports Facilities were opened to service with a ceremony held.
From an Idle Area to a Social Life Center
Asparan, which remained as an idle area for years, was completely renovated and given its new look through the efforts of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department.
Rich Amenities and Sports Areas
Built on a ten-decare area and designed with a capacity of 150 people, the facility includes football, basketball, and volleyball courts.
The facility also features a tennis court, mini-golf area, camping ground, outdoor event areas, conference hall, library, and a gaming-innovation area.
First Event and Youth Gathering
With its opening, the facility also hosted the 4th Local Youth Structures Gathering under the auspices of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey.
Held between September 25-28 under the auspices of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, in cooperation with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and Muğla Youth Assembly, the gathering was attended by approximately 100 young people from different provinces of Turkey.
Opening Ceremony and Concert Enthusiasm
The opening program witnessed colorful scenes following protocol speeches and the ribbon-cutting.
The official opening ceremony continued with a concert given by the band A Fish Band right after the ribbon-cutting.
