Aziz Yıldırım Announces He Will Step Down as President After Making Fenerbahçe Champions
Speaking at the Ordinary Financial General Assembly, Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım shared the club's current financial data and stated that he will introduce limits on financial expenditures through a bylaws congress planned for January and February.
Fenerbahçe Club President Aziz Yıldırım announced in his speech at the Ordinary Financial General Assembly meeting that he will leave his presidential post next year after leading the team to the championship this season.
Presidential Duty and Championship Goal
Addressing the delegates at the Ordinary Financial General Assembly of the Fenerbahçe Club held at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall, Aziz Yıldırım recalled that they kept their promises and carried the team to the Champions League. Stating that they will make the team champions this season, Yıldırım expressed that he will step down from the presidency next year following the championship.
Financial Table and Budget Details
Touching upon the financial table created by the club in the last four months, Yıldırım announced that they generated a total income of 197 million 454 thousand 995 Euros, while expenditures stood at 127 million 627 thousand 266 Euros. Stating that there is approximately 70 million Euros in cash in the club's treasury, Yıldırım drew attention to the debts until October 10 and past transfer payments.
Bylaws Congress and New Management Plan
Criticizing the practices of the former management regarding transfer fee installments and UEFA correspondence, Aziz Yıldırım evaluated the sale and expenditures of Sidiki Cherif. Announcing that they will hold a bylaws congress in January or February, Yıldırım stated that they will bring limitations to the sale of club assets and transfer fee expenditures, and aim to leave 100 million Euros to the next administration with Ataşehir revenues.
