Batman Municipality Summer Sports Schools Started with Thousands of Participants
Courses implemented by Batman Municipality to help children make productive use of their summer holidays bring thousands of young people together with sports across nine branches.
Led by the Batman Municipality Sports Affairs Directorate and planned to help children and youth spend their summer holidays in a healthy, productive, and active manner, the Summer Sports Schools opened their doors on July 1st in nine different branches with thousands of participants.
Purpose and Scope of the Summer Sports Schools
The Batman Municipality Sports Affairs Directorate has launched the Summer Sports Schools with the aim of helping children and youth spend their summer holidays in a healthy, productive, and active manner.
Branches Receiving the Most Intense Interest
The highest applications directed towards Batman Municipality, which brings thousands of children together with sports, took place in indoor sports branches.
Sports Branches Offered for Training
Courses opened in the branches of basketball, volleyball, handball, swimming, gymnastics, football, tennis, archery, fitness, and pilates are being conducted under the guidance of expert trainers in their respective fields.
Participation and Distribution Figures for the Courses
The Municipal Sports Affairs Directorate announced that a total of 3,650 people benefit from this service, broken down as 350 in basketball, 250 in volleyball, 150 in handball, 1,700 in swimming, 500 in football, 100 in tennis, 200 in archery, 150 in fitness, and 250 in pilates.
