Central Government Agencies Block 1 Sports Festival Begins
Held in Da Nang, athletes from ten different public institutions are competing in table tennis and pickleball disciplines.
The 2026 sports competitions organized by the Central Agencies Emulation Block 1 in the city of Da Nang officially began with an opening ceremony held on the morning of September 26.
High-Level Participation in the Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was attended by Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.
Athletes and Disciplines Participating in the Competitions
Exciting competitions in two different sports, namely table tennis and pickleball, are being held at this year's sports festival.
More than 150 athletes from various institutions within the block are displaying fierce competition in this organization.
Main Objectives and Goals of the Event
Event officials emphasized that the event provides an important platform for athletes to interact and showcase their competitive spirit.
It was stated that such sporting activities strengthen solidarity and close ties among institutions.
Participating Institutions and Units
The ten institutions taking part in the event include Da Nang C Hospital, the Social Security Office, the Tax Department, and the State Bank of Vietnam Region 9 Branch.
Additionally, the State Treasury, the Bank for Social Policies, the Statistics Department, sub-departments of Customs and State Reserve, and the Development Bank also participated in this organization.
