Italy, which completed the tournament with the silver medal, won 250 thousand Euro, while Serbia, which took the third-place step, left the organization with 150 thousand Euro.

Legal Regulation and Republic Gold Award

The domestic equivalent of the won cup became official with the provisions of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' relevant reward regulation.

The relevant legal regulation mandates that a cash payment in the amount of 150 Republic Gold coins be made to each starting athlete of the squad that becomes the European champion in Olympic team sports.

Budget Per Athlete and Total Figures

Based on the current Republic Gold exchange rate trading at the level of 44,773 TL under market conditions, 6 million 715 thousand 950 TL will be deposited into the account of each player in the national team squad.

The total general budget to be allocated to the 14 athletes in the squad reaches 94 million 23 thousand 300 TL.

Head Coach and Additional Income Details

In accordance with the regulation, the head coach who led the team to the summit of Europe will also be awarded 1 million 343 thousand 190 TL, equivalent to 30 Republic Gold coins.

The total earnings to be obtained by the national athletes will not be limited only to the legal tariff determined by the state and the CEV share.

It is finalized that the total figure entering the coffers of the athletes will reach much higher levels together with additional success bonuses to be offered from the Turkish Volleyball Federation's own budget, shares allocated to the technical staff, and additional bonuses to be brought by major sponsorship agreements that will come into play after the championship.
