Changes in Task Distribution within Galatasaray's Volleyball and Women's Basketball Branches
New heads for Galatasaray's volleyball and women's basketball branches have been appointed, and the task distribution within the board of directors has been reorganized.
Following a meeting of the Galatasaray board of directors, changes in responsibilities for the volleyball and women's basketball branches have been implemented. Vice President Mehmet Cibara shared the details of the new responsibility distribution.
New Heads of the Branches Appointed
It was announced that a new arrangement has been made in the areas of responsibility for Galatasaray's volleyball and women's basketball branches.
As a result of the task distribution, Ömer Sarıgül was brought in for the volleyball branch, while Mecit Mert Çetinkaya assumed responsibility for the women's basketball branch.
Statements by Mehmet Cibara
In a statement to the club's website, Galatasaray Vice President Mehmet Cibara stated that he transferred the branches of his own accord.
Cibara emphasized that the establishment processes of the teams were completed as of the beginning of the season and that these branches were handed over to the relevant names with a new board of directors decision.
New Reporting and Operational Process
Within the scope of the new operational period in the branches, how the reporting processes will proceed has also become clear.
Accordingly, the situation in the branches will first be conveyed by the officials to Sports Director Muhittin Özbay, and then reported to Mehmet Cibara by the board members.

The underlying reasons for this task distribution change in the Galatasaray management were shared with the public.
As Vice President responsible for all sporting activities of the club, Mehmet Cibara drew attention to the difficulties of closely dealing with all sixteen to nearly twenty branches.
Aiming to Share the Workload
Mehmet Cibara stated that due to the presence of numerous sports branches, there were times when he could not keep up with all of them on his own.
Therefore, he expressed that the branches were distributed among the board members and that there was no other special reason behind this decision.
