Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong Visits the Vietnamese Delegation in Japan
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong inspected the ASIAD 20 Athletes' Village and received briefings from officials on the delegation's situation.
Prior to the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong visited the ASIAD 20 Athletes' Village in Japan to inspect the accommodation, dining, and training preparations of the Vietnamese sports delegation firsthand.
Visit and Inspections at the Athletes' Village
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong visited the ASIAD 20 Athletes' Village before the opening ceremony to greet and encourage the members of the Vietnamese sports delegation. Deputy Minister Cuong toured the accommodation areas, rooms, and cafeteria, examining the living and nutritional conditions of the athletes in detail.
Briefing from the Head of the Delegation
During the visit, Nguyen Hong Minh, head of the Vietnamese sports delegation at ASIAD 20 and Deputy Director of the Department of Sports, briefed the Deputy Minister on the overall situation of the delegation. Minh stated that while athletes continue their training, the distant and scattered training venues pose transportation challenges.
Instructions on Transportation and Medical Care
Deputy Minister Cuong requested proactive coordination with the Organizing Committee and the host country, and that transportation arrangements be planned carefully. He also emphasized that special importance must be given to medical care and physical recovery processes.
