Facility Investment Campaign Launched in 16 Districts of Sakarya

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol implemented between the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality and the Spor Toto Organization Presidency, official steps have been taken to build comprehensive sports facilities in a total of 16 districts, including Akyazı.

Signing Ceremony Held in Ankara

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar and the accompanying delegation visited the Spor Toto Organization Presidency in Ankara to sign the protocol for the new investments.

Members of parliament, the deputy general manager, the provincial director, and district mayors were also present at the meeting to support the projects.

Scope and Objectives of the Protocol

Signed with the participation of Spor Toto Organization Deputy President Dr. Metin Ayvazoğlu, this new protocol will give a major impetus to sports investments throughout the city.

Mayor Yusuf Alemdar stated that in addition to the previously delivered facilities, the construction of sports halls is ongoing in 4 districts, and this network will expand with the new investments.

Investments in Akyazı Hastane and Çatalköprü Neighborhoods

It is planned to bring a synthetic turf football pitch and a modern sports hall with a spectator capacity of 250 to Akyazı Hastane Neighborhood.

In Çatalköprü Neighborhood, a complex featuring a sports hall, an illuminated synthetic turf pitch, locker rooms, and a steel portable tribune will be established.

Facilities to be Built in Other Neighborhoods

A versatile area will be created in İnönü Neighborhood by constructing a synthetic turf football pitch, a basketball-volleyball court, a tennis court, and a skateboard track.

A synthetic turf surface football pitch will be built in each of the Fatih, Cumhuriyet, Yeni Mahalle, Konuralp, and Gazi Süleyman Paşa neighborhoods.
