Formula 1 excitement is returning to Turkey after a long hiatus. According to the announced calendar, races will be held in Istanbul between 2027 and 2031.

Race Calendar and Schedule
Formula 1 management officially announced the 2027 FIA Formula 1 World Championship calendar, and race dates have been finalized. In this context, the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix will begin with practice and qualifying sessions on October 1-2, and the grand race will be held on October 3, 2027.
Istanbul Park Circuit and History
After a six-year hiatus, Formula 1 excitement is moving back to Istanbul. The organization will be held for the 10th time in total at TOSFED Istanbul Park, where drivers will compete on the approximately 5.3-kilometer circuit featuring elevation changes and the famous Turn 8.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that with the official announcement of the calendar, they have stepped up preparations. Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak stated that Turkey is fully prepared to host major international organizations.
TOSFED and Future Period Plans
Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) President Eren Üçlertoprağı emphasized that the track will be modernized according to the highest international standards. Formula 1 races will be held between 2027 and 2031.
