Free Winter Sports Schools Organized by Batman Municipality

The Directorate of Youth and Sports Services of the Batman Municipality is organizing free winter sports activities to enable children to spend the winter season actively and healthily.

Winter Activities Following the Summer Period

Initiated in line with the insights of Governor and Deputy Mayor Ekrem Canalp, the summer sports schools had provided sports services to over 10,000 youth and children across Batman.

Following the intense interest during the summer period, the Directorate of Youth and Sports Services of the Batman Municipality has now completed its preparations for the winter sports schools.

Course Details and Disciplines

The free winter sports activities cover children between the ages of 7 and 14, while the age range for the gymnastics discipline has been set as 4 to 6.

Students will have the opportunity to receive professional training in a total of various disciplines, including basketball, volleyball, swimming, court tennis, football, handball, and gymnastics.

Application and Start Schedule

Applications for the winter sports schools will be accepted in person at the Batman Sports Complex between September 14 and September 24, 2026.

Educational activities are planned to officially start as of Saturday, September 26, 2026.
