The total market value of the squads assembled by Süper Lig clubs this season reached the level of 1.66 billion Euros. Accordingly, clubs spent a total of 418.73 million Euros during the summer transfer window.
Despite large investments, a total of 161 goals were scored in the first 6 weeks of the league, and all of these goals came from within the existing squad structure.
Goal Contribution of New Transfers
Newly transferred football players signed only 55.3 percent of the 161 goals that met the net in the first 6 weeks of the season.
Despite multi-million Euro expenditures, this ratio of new transfers to the total score remained below expectations.
Efficiency Distribution by Teams
In the Trendyol Süper Lig, Çorum FK and Eyüpspor clubs managed to achieve the highest goal efficiency from their new transfers.
In contrast, some major clubs in the league failed to receive the desired level of score contribution from their transfers.
Galatasaray's Transfer Efficiency
Galatasaray drew attention as the team with the lowest efficiency from its new transfers. The yellow-red team spent 139 million Euros last season and approximately 73 million Euros this season.
Despite these expenditures, Galatasaray's new transfers failed to provide any score contribution to the 13 goals scored by the team.
Contribution Rates of Other Giants
Among the other established clubs of the league, Fenerbahçe obtained a 68.8 percent goal contribution from its new transfers.
Trabzonspor managed to get a goal contribution from its new transfers at a rate of 84.6 percent and Beşiktaş at 64.3 percent.
