Muhammed Yavuz Selim Oğuz, who became the men's overall classification winner in the 38th Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Race organized by the Turkish National Olympic Committee, aims to represent Turkey in international organizations.
Race Details
The 38th Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Race, organized by the Turkish National Olympic Committee, was successfully held in the Bosphorus with the participation of 2,500 athletes from 64 countries.
Swimmers competing on the challenging course extending from Kanlıca to Kuruçeşme displayed a fierce rivalry in the waters of the Bosphorus.
Championship Result
Muhammed Yavuz Selim Oğuz, a student at Haliç University Faculty of Sports Sciences Coaching Education Department, completed the 6.5-kilometer course in 51 minutes and 13 seconds.
With this significant time achieved, Oğuz became the champion by finishing first in the men's overall classification.
Protocol Participation
Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak also closely followed the thrilling organization that took place in the Bosphorus.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Safa Koçoğlu Gürsoy, Turkish National Olympic Committee President Veli Ozan Çakır, and Turkish Swimming Federation President Erkan Yalçın were also among the spectators of the race.

Haliç University Board of Trustees Chairman Kemal Bilal Aydın emphasized that this great success achieved by the young athlete is a source of pride for them.
