School Visit and World Championship Celebration
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin visited Ankara TVF Sports High School together with Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ.
Minister Tekin came together with the athletes of the school team, who became world champions at the 2026 World High School Volleyball Championship.
Within the scope of the visit, Tekin watched the students' training and congratulated the students, coaches, and federation management for their success.
Carrying Out Academic and Athletic Development Together
Minister Yusuf Tekin emphasized that academic education and athletic development must be carried out together in the process of raising athletes.
It was stated that educational policies are planned in line with this joint visit and evaluations.
New Secondary School Study Integrated with the High School
It was announced that necessary work will be carried out to establish a secondary school near Ankara TVF Sports High School that will provide education in an integrated manner with the high school.
With this new secondary school project, it is aimed for students to start their education in the field of sports at much earlier ages.

It was stated that thanks to the project school model, educational programs can be prepared together with relevant federations and institutions.
Within the scope of this model, it was expressed that expert names in their fields can actively participate in educational processes.

Minister Tekin conveyed that legislative regulations allowing students to be admitted to these schools starting from the secondary school level have been completed.

It was recalled that an integrated educational structure encompassing a music primary school, secondary school, and high school was previously established in Ankara.
Additionally, the information was shared that secondary schools have also started to be opened in a similar way in the field of vocational and technical education.
