Common Bond, a luxury fitness and gym chain operating in London, has announced the closure of 16 of its branches until further notice. The sudden decision has caused concern among customers who paid in advance for class packages.

Branches Cease Operations

Common Bond, operating in London's luxury fitness sector, announced that operations have been suspended at all branches of the five different brands under its umbrella. In an informational email sent to its members, the company management stated that the doors will remain closed until further notice.

In the message conveyed to customers, an apology was issued for any disruptions the closure decision might cause. Acknowledging the disappointment caused by the situation, company officials stated that they expect patience from their members during this process.

Centers Visited by Celebrities

Among the closed centers is Triyoga, which has been visited by many world-famous names in the past. Well-known figures such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Kate Moss, and Geri Horner were among the customers of this brand.

Triyoga's former center in Primrose Hill was once considered among London's most popular yoga studios. Other centers within the chain offered cycling, boxing, yoga, and relaxation-focused exercises.

Member Rights and Corporate Structure

This unexpected development has caused backlash and concern, especially among members who had purchased class packages in advance. How compensation will be handled for customers with unused classes has not yet been shared.

According to official corporate registry Companies House records, Ben Allen, who was appointed as a director when Common Bond was established in June 2025, resigned in August 2026. Current records show Belgian citizen Gaspar Lipszyc, living in Spain, as the sole director.
