Investigation and Arrest Decisions
Seven suspects detained within the framework of the referees file investigation conducted in Istanbul were referred to the courthouse. As a result of the evaluation made by the criminal judgeship of peace, a total of 5 people were arrested.

Ferhat Gündoğdu's Defense Before the Judgeship
In his statement before the judgeship, MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu stated that he was not aware of the existence of the audio recording on his phone and that this situation did not carry any malicious intent.
Stating that he learned about the recording in question after it was published on social media, Gündoğdu defended his innocence and requested his release.
Legal Grounds and Personal Data
In the judgeship's decision, it was emphasized that there was sufficient concrete evidence for the arrest measure against Gündoğdu and MHK member Yunus Yıldırım.
It was determined that the suspects pushed aside the principle of merit in referee assignments, unlawfully recorded certain personal data, and used this data in assignments.
Scope of the Investigation and Allegations
It was stated that the investigation focuses on allegations of fraud in referee examination papers, classifications, irregularities in assignments, and allegations of mobbing.
Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, WhatsApp correspondence between the suspects and the referees was also taken under detailed review.
