Purpose of the Belgrade Visit
A delegation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports held official talks in Belgrade on September 28-29 with the aim of developing cooperation in the field of athlete mental health and psychosocial support services.
Institutional Meetings
The ministry delegation held discussions on psychosocial support at the Serbian Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Tourism and Youth.
On-site inspections were conducted at the Serbian Athlete Health and Sports Psychology Support Center and the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at the University of Belgrade.
Turkey's Model Presented
The Turkish delegation conveyed the psychosocial support model established by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB) for youth and athletes to Serbian authorities.
Sports psychology services and field supports provided free of charge to athletes at TOHM and SEM were shared.
Platform Data
The delegation stated that 300,000 young people have been served to date through the Psychosocial Support Platform launched by the Ministry in 2024.

Ministry Advisor and Head of Psychosocial Support Services Department Elif Güneş stated that the services are provided publicly, free of charge, and with a holistic approach.
International Contacts
The Department had implemented a project in Kazakhstan in June and participated in the European Congress of Sport and Exercise Psychology in Romania in July.
