A new decision regarding Fenerbahçe was announced on the official website of the International Federation of Association Football's registration ban list. The list showed that a three-window transfer ban has been imposed on the yellow-navy club, with the penalty starting on September 25, 2026.

In an official statement made by the Fenerbahçe club, it was conveyed that the three-window transfer ban is temporary and relates to the transfer fee of footballer Youssef En-Nesyri. It was stated that Sevilla club initiated proceedings before FIFA due to the non-payment of the transfer installment dated April 30, 2026.
Will Be Lifted Upon Payment
It was stated that after the management took office, the delayed installment was paid, but the subsequent installment was also demanded in the initiated lawsuit. The club announced that the payment ruled by the FIFA decision will be made on Monday, September 28, the first business day.
