Physical Realization Reaches 80 Percent Level in Atatürk Sports Hall Project

The physical realization rate in the construction of the Atatürk Sports Hall, which is ongoing in Osmangazi, Bursa, has reached 80 percent. Officials inspecting the project on-site received information about the works.

Inspection Visit and Participants

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba inspected the ongoing work on-site at the Atatürk Sports Hall under construction in the Osmangazi district.

During the technical inspection, Şahin Biba was accompanied by AK Party Provincial Vice President Cem Kürşad Hasanoğlu, AK Party Osmangazi District President Adnan Kurtuluş, and municipal bureaucrats.

Capacity and Facility Features

Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba stated that the project is 80 percent complete and noted that the total construction area is 18,720 square meters.

It was officially announced that the spectator capacity, initially planned for 3,000 people, was increased to 5,000 people with the revision made.

Amenity Areas and Parking

The new facility will feature modern locker rooms for athletes, referees, and coaches.

Additionally, a 40-vehicle indoor parking lot will serve within the facility for buffets, management offices, and the administrative section.

Completed and Ongoing Works

It was stated that reinforced concrete and steel construction works have been completed in the project, and the roof covering and landscaping retaining structures have been finished.

It was reported that terrace insulation, mechanical manufacturing, interior plastering, hardscape applications, and facade works are continuing rapidly.
