Turkish cycling team Spor Toto Continental has completed its preparations to compete in the Tour of Romania, which will feature 23 teams from 17 countries.
The Spor Toto Continental Cycling Team will feature an ambitious squad in the international Tour of Romania cycling tour, which will include 23 teams from 17 countries, including Italy and Poland.
Race Route Details
The organization, featuring 23 teams from a total of 17 countries, will start on September 9 from the Moldovan capital of Chișinău. Over five stages, cyclists will attempt to cover a total route of 772.8 kilometers.
The final stage of the grueling competition will conclude on September 13 in the Romanian capital of Bucharest, where the general classification results will be finalized.
Strong Squad Structure
Having finished at the top of the King of the Mountains classification with Mustafa Tekin at the Tour of Istanbul, the Spor Toto Continental Cycling Team is entering the race in Romania with ambitious athletes as well.
Feritcan Şamlı, who holds the title of 2026 Turkish Road Champion, and Serdar Anıl Depe, who finished the Tour of Mersin at the top of the general classification this season, are among the prominent names of the team.

Making evaluations following the Tour of Istanbul, Spor Toto Continental Cycling Team manager Mehmet Şafakçı emphasized that a tough competition awaits them throughout the five stages.
Drawing attention to the fact that the Italian National Team will also take part in the event despite it being the end of the season, Şafakçı expressed his belief in his athletes, anticipating a fiercely contested race.
