Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek provided comprehensive information to the consultative council members regarding the club's ongoing real estate projects, new season sporting goals, and transfer expenditures at the ordinary September consultative council meeting.
Consultative Council Meeting Held
The ordinary September consultative council meeting of the Galatasaray Club was held with high participation at the Galatasaray High School Tevfik Fikret Hall.
Taking the floor on behalf of the club management at the meeting, President Dursun Özbek shared the latest status regarding the yellow-red club's administrative and financial projects.
Latest Status in Real Estate Projects
President Dursun Özbek stated that apartment deliveries in the LEO Residences project in Aslantepe Valley are continuing as planned.
Stating that the construction of the complex that will serve Olympic branch sports is ongoing, Özbek conveyed that zoning works in Florya and Riva are also progressing.
Kemerburgaz and Retail Projects
Stating that the first phase has been completed at the Kemerburgaz facilities, the management announced that licensing obstacles for the second phase have been overcome.
It was noted that the first branch of 'Cafe il Gala' will open in Mecidiyeköy and that reaching a total of ten stores is targeted.
Transfer Policy and 50 Million Euro Statement
Responding to criticisms regarding the delay during the transfer window, Dursun Özbek explained that they preferred a strategic wait in order to protect financial discipline.
Özbek stated that if the same transfers had been made in July, the club would have suffered a loss, and the financial difference between them would have been around 50 million euros.
New Season Goals and European Emphasis
Galatasaray's sporting goals for this season include achieving a fifth consecutive championship and the twenty-seventh overall.
President Özbek emphasized that alongside these major goals in the league, they are working for the club to be successful internationally and in Europe as well.
