It was stated that medical examinations conducted in June revealed bone marrow edema and an increase in fluid in the sacroiliac joint of national volleyball player Ebrar Karakurt. The Volleyball Federation announced in an official statement on June 12 that her treatment process was anticipated.
Reason for Not Being in the Squad
TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ stated in his announcement on July 13 that the player would not be able to make it to the Volleyball Nations League finals and the European Championship. Although Karakurt was included in the preliminary roster, she was not in the tournament squad.
