Argument Starting with a Towel Warning
During the incident on August 31 at a gym in Ataşehir, Istanbul, an argument broke out when trainer Muhammet Tuğrul Ç., who issued a towel warning in accordance with sterilization rules, tried to help member Sevde G. who was still using the machine.
Upon the trainer stating that a towel must be used, the female member went to the sales representative to complain, and the tension between the parties escalated from that point on.
Moment of Insults and Kicking Attack
As the trainer approached to talk, the angry woman hurled insults and kicked the trainer in the abdomen, while other gym-goers intervened and managed to separate the fight with difficulty.
Following this scuffle, trainer Muhammet Tuğrul Ç. obtained a medical report for battery, filed a complaint, and initiated legal proceedings.
Suspect's Statement and Judicial Process
In her statement, suspect Sevde G. claimed that the trainer stared at her aggressively and stepped too close to her, stating that she did not accept the accusations directed at her.
Following her procedures at the prosecutor's office, Sevde G. was released under judicial control conditions by the Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace to which she was referred.
