Turkish Super Lig Representatives Submit UEFA Squads for European Cups
Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor, which will compete in UEFA organizations, have officially submitted their tournament squads to UEFA.
Turkish representatives Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas, and Trabzonspor, who will take part in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League, have completed their squad submissions for the European tournaments.
Teams to Compete in the European Arena
As the league stages begin in the three major tournaments organized by Turkey, the divisions in which Turkey's representative teams will compete have become clear. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray will sweat it out in the Champions League.
Besiktas will take the stage in the UEFA Europa League, while Trabzonspor will continue its journey in the UEFA Conference League. The four major clubs have submitted their squads for the respective tournaments.
UEFA Squad Rules and Youth Development Criteria
According to UEFA rules, teams can include a maximum of 25 players in their European squads. It is mandatory to have at least two goalkeepers on this list.
At least eight of the twenty-five player quota must consist of players trained in the club's or country's youth system. If this criterion cannot be met, the total squad size is reduced.
Trabzonspor's Transfer Move During the Process
Trabzonspor made a significant move in the final stage of the squad submission process. The burgundy-blue club completed the transfer of Franculino Dju.
The management managed to get the new transfer's paperwork in towards the end of the allocated time, ensuring he was included in the UEFA list.
